As a seasoned Staff Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the field of software testing, I possess a strong understanding of test planning, design, execution, and defect reporting & tracking. My experience spans across various industries, including banking, consulting, and software development.Currently, I work at Nagarro as a Staff Engineer where I am responsible for documentation of test plans, test execution strategy, and automation development plans. I actively engage in sprint planning and estimation, and I also participate in daily scrum meetings. My responsibilities also include test automation script design and development, high-level test data preparation, and test cases execution & regression testing of various components. I have experience working with various tools and frameworks including Java, Appium, Selenium, Rest Assured, Cucumber, BDD, Jenkins, GIT, Azure DevOps, JmeterPrior to my current role, I was employed at NatWest Group as a Quality Automation Specialist. Here, I applied testing methodologies, principles, and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process. I was responsible for investigating production issues by recreating them in test environments and coordinating with development and support teams for resolution. I created reports and testing metrics and performed both functional and automation testing. I developed scripts to support continuous integration and implemented test cases and scenarios using BDD and Cucumber in Gherkins format. Additionally, I hold certifications in ISTQB Foundation Level, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, and Publicis Sapient for BDD, Selenium, REST\\SOAP, and DevOps tools.As a Senior Associate QA L1 at Publicis Sapient, I worked with product, design, and engineering teams on requirements gathering and evaluation. I conducted tests case preparation, execution, and defect reporting using HPQC and RTC. I executed regression testing to reduce its defect leakage by 18% using Cucumber-Selenium framework integrated with Jenkins. I also conducted UAT, production deployment, and integration of the products. I worked closely with the team to follow agile model and identify loopholes in the processes.I am a graduate in Electronics and Communication from Amity University.
