I am an undergraduate student at UC Santa Cruz, majoring in computer science, with a passion for artificial intelligence, front-end development, and leveraging technology to solve real-world challenges. I am deeply driven to explore the intersections of technology, mental health, and human-computer interaction, aiming to develop innovative solutions that enhance quality of life and user engagement. My focus extends to creating scalable software applications and exploring brain-inspired computing for more efficient systems. As a software engineering intern at Bitloops, I developed an AI-powered chatbot capable of answering over 200 technical questions related to front-end development, leveraging modern technologies like OpenAI\'s API to enhance customer engagement. I also contributed to scalable front-end software solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Some of my recent projects include the development of 1) a 3D social media platform for virtual reality using NeRF and Unity as part of the ViReal project to create immersive digital spaces, 2) an AI-powered system for automating exoplanet discovery, achieving an 85% accuracy rate in predicting habitability, and reducing computation time by 40%, 3) an AI-based educational course aimed at tackling biases in AI, enabling users to identify and mitigate societal and technical challenges in real-world applications. My academic achievements include publishing papers in the Curieux Academic Journal on AI and space exploration, as well as recognition for my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award and Academic Excellence in international programs like THIMUN Qatar. I have also been a key leader, serving as president of the Doha Gavels Club and managing high-impact events like Qatar Leadership Conference (QLC) and THIMUN Qatar. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing soccer, squash, volunteering to support elderly individuals in hospitals through organizations like KiB (Kissing It Better), and contributing to youth leadership initiatives as a Toastmasters-certified competent gavelier communicator.
