I joined Qase as the second frontend engineer when the company had only 5 engineers - and have since contributed to its growth into a 40+ person team with 5 frontend developers. Over the years, I’ve helped shape both the product and the engineering culture, focusing on scalable architecture, accessibility, and user-centered design.Key contributions & achievements:• Built and optimized complex frontend features using React, TypeScript, and MobX (migrating from legacy Redux).• Proposed and implemented 30+ product improvement ideas - two of which became very popular features generating over $200K in ARR.• Advocated for and implemented accessibility (a11y) best practices across the product, ensuring a more inclusive and professional user experience.• Actively participated in product discussions — shaping roadmap priorities and acting as a bridge between engineering and business needs.• Helped promote a culture of overvalue creation — where engineers act as proactive business partners rather than task executors.Aside a job:• Member of the program committee for two one-day conferences• Speaker at three meetups, sharing knowledge on frontend development and automation.
