I am working as a software engineer part of the Search and Discovery Team for Eli Lilly and Company.During my time at TCS I developed core components required for the search application that facilitates data onboarding and searching on the platform.My most notable work was building a new text extraction tool that should be very fast, highly accurate and extracts text from literally every file thrown at him. I built the tool with Apache Tika,Java and Integrated Tesseract OCR capabilites and also scaled it to handle large amount of data efficiently. This new tool not only was fast but also reduced AWS Cloud Operational cost by 91.6%. I was honored with Technical Excellence Award by TCS.Apart from that I worked with UI Team to build elegant user interfaces with React and deployed the build on AWS Cloudfront. I also built many backend APIs with Python, Learned about Docker and Kubernetes and learned to use many different AWS Services.
