My name is Alyssa-Kayla, and I go by my nickname,\"A.K.\"! I’m a recent graduate from Cal Poly Pomona, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Apparel Merchandising and Management (emphasis in Apparel Production), and I’m currently working full-time as Product Integrity Analyst at Alo Yoga! With a background in the dynamic and fast-paced apparel industry, I\'m determined to expand my knowledge and make an impact through hands-on experience towards sustainable supply chains. My work is driven, but not limited to, bridging the gaps between brands/manufacturers/consumers, strengthening community engagement through education, and supporting the preservation of artisanal practices. With this, I\'m also open to exploring innovation in environmental technology, Life Cycle Assessments, waste management, and ergonomics. Outside of work, I love attending crafting workshops, local events, and coming up with new ways to upcycle my unworn garments (through patchwork, weaving, embroidery, and more). I\'m also a musician of over 10 years and love playing finger-style guitar, piano, and singing in my free time! You can occasionally find me performing at open mics around town!
