Our Journey - A Legacy of Excellence and Innovation Optiemus Infracom was founded in 1993, with a belief to take risks while inducing a meaningful change. In 1995, we started distribution of Nokia phones to initiate a mobile revolution in the country. We expanded our distribution base with B2B distribution for Plantronics. In 2007, we were the ND for Samsung. With each step, we grew stronger and gained trust. In 2009, we launched our own mobile brand, Zen Mobile. This was followed in 2012 by the founding of the first genuine tempered glass manufacturing facility in India - Ace Mobile. A year later, we added HTC distribution to our portfolio. In 2015, we pivoted towards electronics manufacturing and founded GDN for mobile phones. In 2016, we founded Optiemus Electronics Limited (OEL), strengthening our overall manufacturing ecosystem. In 2017, when we acquired the license to design, develop, and manufacture BlackBerry phones, we bring together a legendary brand and our manufacturing capabilities. In 2020, OEL was awarded the PLI for mobile phone manufacturing. In 2023, we signed up with Corning Inc to form Bharat Innovative Glass Technologies – JV manufacturing finished cover glass for smartphones. We also became licensees of Corning Inc to manufacture and market Corning Engineered tempered glass. In the same year we founded Optiemus Unmanned Systems to design, develop, and manufacture 100% Make in India drones. From being a distributor to becoming a leading name in manufacturing (with PLIs for I Hardware, Mobile, and Telecom Devices), our group has grown and diversified with every challenge. Our story is one of passion, perseverance, and purpose. And the journey continues.
