   Oversees the development and execution of our annual DEIA programming to ensure alignment with organizational strategic plan. • Spearheads the advancement and integration of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility within all functions of the organization. • Leads a cross-departmental DEIA committee to ensure best practices are integrated into internal and external processes. • Design and facilitate diversity, equity, and inclusion training, as well as supervisory and leadership training. • Develop strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent with diverse perspectives, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion. • Engage local leaders in discussions to identify solutions and programs addressing disparity within the community. • Provide guidance, mentorship, and advisory support to employees, supervisors, and volunteers on DEIA best practices. • Oversees recruiting, staff engagement, volunteer and DEAI programming. • Conducts employee exit interviews and responds to employee and volunteer relations issues, which includes mediation, and implementation of action plans for resolution. • Facilitate terminations for staff and volunteers whose behaviors do not align with organizational core values. • Conduct team building training sessions through the True Colors assessment for staff to learn effective communication techniques. • Establish trusted partnerships with diversity and inclusion councils, working groups, to ensure initiatives, resources and tools are effectively used to meet goals and objectives. • Develops training, strategies, tools and resources based on feedback from launching employee and volunteer engagement surveys to ensure effectiveness and alignment with our Core Values. • Develops and maintains metrics and scorecards to measure and track the success of initiatives and programs. • Provide ongoing training, evaluation and mentorship and supervision to HR Specialist and Volunteer Engagement Coordinator.
