Having just completed the CDC funded Closing the Gap on SDOH Accelerator Plan: Housing is Health, I am now working to implement the plans\' recommendations. These recommendations focus on helping Federally Qualify Heath Centers and other community health centers help their patients with their housing needs. Working from the Indiana Primary Health Care Association is the perfect organization to successfully implement these recommendations. This non for profit provides technical assistance and advocacy services for 40 of Indiana\'s community healthcare centers.

ABOUT ALISON COLE
I have dedicated my career to creating opportunities for people to access and secure life changing assets - be it a home, an education, a better job. I have worked in the affordable housing, workforce development, and not for profit industries and I have provided countless hours in a consultant capacity working with primary, secondary and post secondary education and youth serving institutions, social service agencies and community development corporations. My experience includes: Overseeing the programmatic, financial and administrative duties of a Non-Profit, serving as Executive Director; Owning my consulting firm provided grant writing and reporting, program design and evaluation services to over 2 dozen Indiana non-profit and educational institutions; Securing philanthropic grant resources totaling over $1 million; Preparing federal and state grant applications; Researching, authoring and presenting several public policy reports to policy makers; I can analyze complex government rules and regulations and translated them into understandable language; I can design and implement youth, social service, job training, community health and housing programs to meet the needs I can evaluate the effectiveness of these programs and I can raise the money needed to underwrite these important endeavors.
