Akber is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Financial Services Consulting Partner at Kyndryl Canada. In this role, he was responsible for the governance of Front Office change initiatives including the coordination between Compliance and Front Office on regulatory, compliance and business changes. In addition, Akber also conducted investigations into Front Office operational risk and loss events. This includes root cause analysis, remediation activities, effective challenge and loss calculations. Akber\'s experience also includes activities as a Vice-President in Compliance while based in New York. In this role, he supported the administration of a globally consistent Compliance Surveillance program, risk control self-assessments (RCSAs), and change governance initiatives. This includes supporting on regulatory inquiries and exams from regulators.
