ABOUT AKASH SUNIL MENON
Currently, I’m a Test Automation Intern at BMW, where I focus on telematics unit testing, building and refining automated test frameworks for next-generation connected vehicle systems. Prior to this, I gained hands-on experience at Airbus, developing automation solutions for complex test environments in the aerospace domain.(CIDS)My journey into automation started at Cognizant, where I worked as a Software Tester, creating and maintaining automated test scripts and contributing to robust CI/CD pipelines. Alongside this, my involvement in a Formula Student team allowed me to dive deep into embedded systems developing and testing microcontroller-based solutions for real-world automotive applications.With a background in mechatronics and a strong foundation in Python, C/C++, Java, C# and test automation tools, I enjoy bridging the gap between software and hardware. I’m particularly interested in building scalable test infrastructures and ensuring reliability in safety-critical systems.I’m always open to connecting with professionals working in automation, embedded systems, and automotive technology.
