About Akash Sharma
I am an Assistant Professor of Physics and In-Charge HoD of Freshman Engineering, deeply committed to shaping the next generation of engineers with a strong foundation in science, sustainability, and responsible innovation. As a green energy enthusiast and a strong advocate of hydrogen energy, my academic and outreach interests lie at the intersection of physics, clean energy technologies, and engineering education. I believe hydrogen and renewable energy systems will play a defining role in the global energy transition, and it is crucial that engineering students are introduced to these ideas early in their academic journey.Through teaching, curriculum development, and mentorship, I aim to cultivate scientific thinking, environmental responsibility, and problem-solving skills among first-year engineering students. My broader vision is to bridge fundamental physics with real-world energy challenges, contributing to a sustainable and low-carbon future through education and research.I am always open to academic collaborations, interdisciplinary research, and conversations around green energy, hydrogen economy, and physics-driven solutions for sustainability.
