ABOUT AKASH SANKARAN
From LEGO blocks to 6061 Aluminum, I am a fun loving kid turned exhilarating engineer. I am passionate about manufacturing and I was fortunate to pursue Manufacturing Engineering for my Bachelor\'s degree. The shop floor and the ware house of a manufacturing facility never fail to excite me. I love to attack problems with unconventional solutions. This to me means innovating and iterating along each step of the problem solving process and currently, I have two patents pending in the Indian Patent Office. I am pursuing my Master\'s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California (class of 2021) My other interests include Automobiles, Aviation, Heavy Machinery, Technology and consumer goods. My hobbies include cycling, traveling, exploring new places and their native food cuisines and I am a big fan of the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One racing team.
