About Akash Pernankil
I am an organized, results driven professional with strong interpersonal leadership skills, and a penchant for problem solving. I am currently a part-time MBA candidate at The University of Texas at Dallas working towards my degree to strengthen my technical skills and add a managerial skillset to my background. While pursing my B.S. in Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University, I confirmed my passion for problem solving as well and process improvement. After graduation, I applied my technical education in order to improve existing processes. Eager to build my leadership skills, I moved on to a project management role where I learned project execution methodology – I was able to get hands on experience in driving projects to completion, time management skills, cost analysis skills, innovating solutions and working with multiple teams and disciples in order to push a project forward. With my pervasive experience, I was able to hone in on my true passions and wanted to transition into a role where I could use the skills I learned to support my clients and deliver projects efficiently using the latest technologies. After graduating with my MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas, I’d like to position myself in a role and company where I can combine my financial systems knowledge and passion for information technology to transform and optimize its business processes for years to come. I am open to connecting via LinkedIn or the contact information provided in my profile.
