About Akash Gupta

Hello, This is Akash Gupta, a BTech sophomore at IIT Indore from a small city Katni in M.P. Interestingly, I am in Mechanical engineering department but still wishing to be a Software Engineer. Why Mechanical? May be because my JEE Rank didn\'t allowed me get CSE or may be because I believe in enhancing by knowledge in every field. So, I am an active member of Robotics Club as well as Programming Club at IIT Indore. During Fluxus\'19, our Techno Cultural fest, I came to learn managing and conducting technical events as Technical Associate which actually helped a lot improving my soft skills. In these years at IITI, apart from tech, I had great fun being Core Member at Cultural Committee (organizers of every festival celebration at IITI) and being at Presidential Council of Student Gymkhana brings a lot experience. Currently, I have been promoted to President, Programming Club, IIT Indore in the Web Dev division, it\'s actually something I wanted to be from first day at insti. I completed my first MERN web app GreasySpoon as project at IITI-SoC and recently lead the development team of MADAD: IITI\'s initiative to help tackle relief resources issue during Covid. Meanwhile I am also learning DSA to improve my problem solving skills. Lastly, to mention my hobbies, sculpting art is one of my favorite. That\'s all. Thank you for reading me.
