Responsibility- In conjunction with VFX Supervisor and Producer, sets up show including pipeline and methodology decisions- Onboard new artists, leads, and vendors on Roto technical specifications, best practices and Quality control- Helping the recruitment team and taking interviews for new leads/artists- Working across multiple projects simultaneously- Working closely with the cross-site HOD, Supervisor, Producer, and Production manager- Accurately bid Roto for Comp and Roto for paint on a budget in conjunction with management and production team- Discussing project roto requirements and Quality with the Comp supervisor and Lead to meet- Attending briefing Sessions offering expert opinions on how to approach the roto on a shot- Assessment of artists and performance- Spot Checking Roto work to ensure it meets high standards and requirements have been met- Investigating Roto queries and issues on projects- Maintaining relationships between multiple sites- Attending department stakeholder meetings, discussing issues, and helping to develop Software/tools- Sometimes working on time-sensitive shots, producing accurate Roto.Projects - • Star Wars & Lucasfilm (4K)- The Acolyte (Star Wars universe) • HBO - The Last Of Us • Apple TV+- Ghosted • Paramount+- Mission Impossible 7 • Amazon - Wheel of Time Season 2 • Amazon - My Lady Jane • Marvel Comics character - Madame Webb• Sony Pictures Entertainment - WOLFS
