Job Responsibilities- a) Need to perform the visual, mechanical & functional inspection of explosive components/materials to confirm their performance, safety, and reliability under various conditions with proper safety standards.b) Ensure that all test results are accurately documented and analyzed to maintain product integrity.c) Have to manage and monitor the in-process & final inspection of the assign defence project.(Project of Navy/Army/Air Force)d) Prepare and enforce Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) to ensure explosive and other products meet safety, environmental, and operational standards.e) Have to prepare work instruction or SOPs of the process or products.f) Maintain comprehensive records of quality control inspections, tests, audits, and compliance certifications for traceability and reporting purposes.g) Need to monitor the customer inspection and customer satisfaction at the required stages of project. h) Utilize root cause analysis methods (such as PFMEA or Fishbone Diagram) to identify causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.i) Continuously analyse production processes to identify opportunities for improving quality, reducing defects, and optimizing production efficiency by conducting process audit as per the define schedule.j) Provide training to operators/employees on quality standards, safety procedures, and best practices for handling explosives.k) Address and resolve customer complaints regarding product quality, reliability, or safety.l) As a certified internal ISO auditor need to perform audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols.m) Have to review and monitor the departmental ISO documents as per the QMS, EMS & OHSMS.n) Need to manage the environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance of the department by using the Gensuite system.
