ABOUT AKANSHA DEY
I’m an aspiring Human Resource professional currently pursuing my MBA at NIT Rourkela (20•••07)with a deep interest in understanding people, workplace behaviour, and talent management. My academic foundation in Commerce and handson exposure to HR concepts like Organizational Behaviour, Performance Appraisal, and HR Analytics have shaped my curiosity about how people and strategy come together to build strong organizations.What truly excites me about HR is its human side of connecting with people, helping them grow, and creating a positive, inclusive work culture. I’m particularly drawn to areas like recruitment, employee engagement, and learning & development, where I can blend empathy with analytics to make meaningful contributions.I believe in continuous learning, whether it’s exploring the role of AI in HR, analysing workforce trends, or enhancing my communication and leadership skills. Beyond academics, I enjoy doodle art and baking activities that remind me of the importance of creativity and patience, both essential in HR.I’m currently looking forward to opportunities where I can apply my knowledge, learn from real world challenges, and grow as a HR professional.
