ABOUT AKANKSHA DIXIT

I\'m a seasoned Research Scientist in Bengaluru, India, with 5+ years of experience in immunology and cell culture. Currently engaged in developing an Immunohistochemistry (IHC) methodology for various viruses, both enveloped and non-enveloped, for a prestigious organization. The objective is to substitute the conventional Cytopathic Effect (CPE) method for the assessment of viral titers across a range of viruses. Led a team, at my work centers on heterologous vaccines, specializing in ELISpot assays to study immune responses in infected, vaccinated, and non-vaccinated subjects. I\'m proficient in Flowcytometry, using it for disease analysis and immune response examination. I am also involved in customizing our SARS-CoV-2 T-cell immunity ELISA kits and have extensive experience in mammalian cell culture, including cell line maintenance, viral infection, and quality control. My skill set encompasses various techniques like Anti-viral assays, Virus Culture, Immunoassays, ELISpot & ELISA, and more. Beyond my professional achievements, I am now expanding my skill set to include Data Science, Python, Machine Learning, Power BI and Tableau, further enhancing my capabilities to contribute to cutting-edge research.
