I initially joined Asure in a client services role before being promoted to my current Product Owner position, where I own Asure’s timeclock products Time & Attendance v12, a legacy application, and mobile versions for both Android and iOS. My work includes owning two product backlogs, facilitating release and spring planning, setting release cadences, and engaging our internal teams to ensure voice of the customer is considered for roadmapping. Highlights: • Led build of a series of Supervisor Leave Request Management features on Android and iOS mobile apps to improve client supervisor experience and limit the need for desktop browser access. • Implemented an automated release notes process which delivers stakeholders documentation for approval prior to release, removing hours of end-of-release work. The process was adopted across other product lines. • Extended mobile analytics in Google Firebase to identify client subdomains and improve insights into app utilization across clients and industries. Introduced analytics to additional mobile app teams and for Android Timeclock on custom hardware. • Improved engineering workflows to enable mobile releases for every sprint. • Guided efforts to add features (e.g. dynamic fields, remote upgrade processes, new site builds, messaging, backend automation) to an existing web app used as an internal management tool for a client-facing web app, resulting in reduction of manual effort for implementation teams and reduction of lead time from 1-3 days to ~20 minutes. • Migrated system upgrades and system messaging for client alerts (e.g. banners, pop ups) from manual scripts to a web application management tool to enable anyone in product or support to deploy messages or execute upgrades without developer support.
