The aim of the Health Foundation Leadership Fellows scheme, which I did from Dec 2006 to June 2008, was to develop individuals who have the potential to become the future leaders of high quality healthcare.The aim is that the highly individualised programme of personal and professional development will empower participants to make an outstanding contribution to improving the quality of patient care.I continue as a Health Foundation Fellow through the alumni programme.
