As a structural coordinator, I play a key role in resolving technical deviations in collaboration with the Design Manager, ensuring all design and execution activities align with project requirements and specifications.I lead interdisciplinary coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to identify design constraints, drive technical solutions, and maintain workflow efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. My role extends to steel coordination with subcontractors, where I oversee detailed shop drawings, review fabrication models, and ensure seamless integration of steel structures within the overall design framework.Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and resolve structural design deviations in collaboration with design and site teams. Lead interdisciplinary coordination (Structural, Architectural, and MEP) to identify constraints and deliver practical solutions. Manage and review subcontractor drawings and scopes of work, ensuring alignment with design intent and project standards. Oversee steel coordination — reviewing fabrication models, managing shop drawing submissions, and ensuring constructability. Drive the drawing submission strategy, tracking schedules, and managing the design team in preparing and reviewing shop drawings. Review BIM models for clash detection and integration, ensuring digital coordination translates effectively to execution. Address technical queries (TQs/RFIs), mitigate engineering risks, and maintain clear communication across teams. Support the tendering and estimation teams with technical assessments, reviews, and detailed findingsWith a strong foundation in steel structures, structural detailing, and design coordination, I bring together people, process, and technology to deliver precise, efficient, and constructible design solutions.
