About Adam Johnson

Three months after graduating high school in 1997, I was on a train to begin my journey in the U.S. Navy. I spent the next two years training to be a Machinist\'s Mate in the elite Nuclear Propulsion Program. With the ultimate goal of realizing my dream of becoming a Naval Aviator, I aggressively pursued multiple avenues to earn a commission. On May 28th, 2004, I graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Mechanical Engineering degree and orders to Pensacola, FL to commence flight training. Nearly 12 years later, that extraordinary journey had fulfilled its promise many times over and transitioned to the next phase. The Navy was a great experience; I learned many lessons and honed many skills that will most certainly benefit both myself and my future employers. I have readily and enthusiastically embarked upon my current chapter and I look forward to what the future has in store. I consider myself a hard-working, goal oriented person who takes great pride in the results of my efforts. I\'m a hands-on leader and team player who would not ask a co-worker to do something that I would not, or have not, done myself. I thrive in an organization that affords me opportunities to develop and implement ideas for continuing process improvement and enables me to commit my leadership skills to maintain a culture of pride in ownership. Upon establishing a goal, I will not relent until that goal is achieved. I excel when grouped with like-minded people who also appreciate the value of hard work and integrity, but know how to have some fun in the process.
