My position on MY is very unique, it is heavily guest facing while taking on various elements of the Purser responsibilities, such as concierge and personal assistant duties. I manage all the owners and guests travel, logistics and day to day activities. The boat is a heavy use private boat, borderline liveaboard owners, and is run like charter due to the continuous rotation of guests the owner is entertaining. I am responsible for researching, planning and executing itineraries and take on all the concierge duties, I am the ‘face’ of the boat. Onboard I am the go to person for all guests and operations and I communicate all owners requirements to the team to ensure a smooth operation. Off season I take on extra duties like assisting the owner with various projects like property purchases, Interior design and personal trips away from the vessel.
