ABOUT AJLA UZICANIN

I am a Physician Assistant specializing in Gastroenterology. In my role, I manage a wide spectrum of GI conditions, from common digestive disorders such as IBS to complex chronic diseases such as IBD and cirrhosis, with a strong focus on patient education, compassionate care, and evidence-based practice. I’m passionate about making complex GI conditions easier for patients to understand and manage, and I take pride in building strong, supportive relationships with those I treat. Beyond clinical care, I am passionate about supporting the next generation of PAs. I serve as a mentor to pre-PA students in providing guidance, education, and real-world insight into the profession.With a growing depth of knowledge in gastroenterology, I am committed to advancing patient outcomes, fostering collaborative care, and contributing to the professional development of future PAs.
