   Overseeing the German American Partnership Program (GAPP), a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering transatlantic secondary school exchanges between Germany and the U.S. Since 1972, GAPP has facilitated exchanges for students, making it the largest student exchange program between the U.S. and any other country. Strategic Program Leadership: Spearhead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of educational exchange programs, ensuring their relevance, impact, and accessibility for students and educators. Financial Oversight & Organizational Sustainability: Oversee all financial aspects of GAPP, including budgeting, financial planning, grant administration, and fundraising efforts to secure resources and maintain program excellence. Visa Exchange Program Management: Administer and oversee three J-1 Visa Exchange Visitor Programs (Bridge USA), enabling high school students, teachers, and principals from Germany to engage in transformative cultural and educational experiences in the U.S. Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership Development: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with schools, educators, policymakers, donors, corporate sponsors, and government agencies in both Germany and the U.S. to advance GAPP’s mission and expand program reach. Team Leadership & Organizational Growth: Lead the recruitment, training, and supervision of a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative work environment that drives program success. Advancing Transatlantic Collaboration: Advocate for international education and cross-cultural understanding, working closely with institutional partners to develop innovative initiatives that enhance educational exchange opportunities.
