Heads the Logistics function of UPL’s India region; key responsibilities include distribution planning & servicing of Finished goods (FG), warehousing & logistics, CFA operations, inventory management and driving key projects for operational improvements & excellence.Heads the entire India’s logistics movement and distribution of FG from > 25 manufacturing locations to > 75 depots from where the goods move to > 50K customers including distributors & retailersHeads the operations of > 75 depots spread across the country and drives the operational performance, safety standards, statutory compliances and licenses, space planning, CFA and transporter management for all depots.Reduced SLOB (Slow moving and Obsolete) inventory by > 10% in 21-23 against previous year.Driving key projects such as i) developing & implementing a new Logistics dashboard which monitors not only the operational efficiencies of our depots but also the safety and 5S standards of our depots. ii) developing & implementing a new distribution planning and servicing dashboard with newly developed KPIs to monitor, manage and improve the distribution of FG, thereby ensuring the right material is available at the right time at the right place in the right quality & quantity. leading the implementation of bar codes and RFID for improving traceability and reducing counterfeiting of our goods.
