ABOUT AJIT THORAT

I am an HR Executive with over 10 years of experience in the jewellery retail industry, including 3 years in human resources. My professional journey began as a Sales Advisor at Krishna Rajaram Ashtekar and Company, where I developed a strong understanding of customer service and retail operations. Over the years, I progressed through roles such as Cashier and Purchase Officer, gaining valuable experience in finance, inventory management, and operational efficiency through the implementation of the Kaizen 5S system. I completed my MBA in Human Resources in 2022, which strengthened my understanding of people management and business strategy. In January 2023, I took on the role of HR Executive, where I currently manage HR operations for more than 300 employees across 13 locations.My key responsibilities include: Recruitment and Onboarding Payroll Management and Statutory Compliance Employee Engagement and Training HR Data and Leave Management Vendor Coordination I am passionate about creating a positive and compliant workplace culture, driving continuous improvement, and contributing to organizational growth. I am also eager to enhance my practical knowledge in labour laws and compliance. If any consultancy provides an opportunity to learn in this area, I would be glad to participate apart from my current role.
