Coordinate with Home office for day-to-day activities Involved in Dept Resource portfolio Provide training/presentation to trainees Review contract instruction, project design basis, client’s standards, client’s special requirements, applicable codes and standards, local regulation etc. Attend kick off meeting. Identify & quantify the scope of work. Prepare work instruction, piping design basis. Develop plot plan, conceptual equipment layouts. Prepare list of deliverables. Liaison with Process Licensor/ client and other department. Responding to all engineering queries, reports and requests. Conduct design reviews for key deliverables like Plot plan, Equipment layouts. Prepare progress report and Monitor progress w.r.t. overall project program. Re-validation of estimated man-hours based on the actual project requirement before start of the project. Plan resources for the project. Maintain Man-hour variation log and raise variation for the additional work done on the project. Identify/ select the agency for carrying out piping work in cost effective manner. Assist the Group head in departmental administration activities. Reporting incidents/ near misses/ risk observations and published them as lessons learned. Promote awareness and understanding of company quality objectives, values, engineering procedures and latest codes and standards within task force. Impart on job training to the task force members. Check and confirm that HSE related requirements on the project are implemented in designs. Review the performance of Task force team periodically. Review of vendor drawings/ documents and participate in clarification meeting. Review of plot plan, equipment layout, piping specifications, statutory approval documents. Conduct reviews- 30%, 60%, 90% & constructability reviews
