Maintaining thermal mapping reports for the furnace. Perform uniformity test report study and maintain the documents of the same. Involvement in customer/external audits, visits and closure of complaints, non-conformity in theorganization. Inspection of heat treated parts for surface hardness, effective case depth, microstructure analysis anddefects (if any) with traceable documents. Maintaining calibration of all lab instruments like Rockwell HT, Micro Vickers HT, Brinell HT, Metallurgical Microscope etc. Conducting heat treatment suppliers audits and preparing audit reports as per CQI9 standard. Inspection of forging parts for microstructure and hardness. Monitoring of shot blasting and shot peening processes(Seive Analysis, Almen Intensity Measurement). Inspection of laser welded parts for welding measurement analysis. Performing grinding burn test for ground parts.Performing dimensional study for analysis of distortion in heat treatment and take corrective actions.
