I am currently working as a Credit Strategy Manager at Tata Capital contributing to data-driven strategic decision-making in the lending space. My role bridges analytical rigour with practical execution, combining credit insight with process innovation to improve operational & process efficiency.Post-Graduate with a PGDM in Banking & Financial Services from the National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune—an apex institution established by the Reserve Bank of India—I’ve developed a strong foundation in credit, risk, banking strategy, financial markets, and consulting.My journey began in the world of engineering. As a Mechanical Engineering graduate from VIIT Pune, I worked as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Worley, contributing to the Shell REDII Green project in the piping design department. Over time, I transitioned into the financial domain, supported by practical exposure through internships and projects with Tata Capital, Atlas Copco, Vanaz Engineers, and Minimac Systems.At Tata Capital, during my internship, I worked on the automation of tools and handled credit appraisal cases, automated and helped optimise MIS frameworks—a blend of strategic thinking and execution that directly supported core credit functions.Along the way, I’ve worked on diverse research projects ranging from liquidity ratios in private banks to tribological analysis of composites, published technical papers, and even co-authored a patent. I have also led innovation and social entrepreneurship projects—securing government funding for a tribal radio initiative and building community impact ventures.In recognition of my academic and leadership contributions, I was felicitated by the RBI Governor, Shri Sanjay Malhotra, with the Convocation Award at NIBM—a moment that reinforced my commitment to financial excellence and responsible leadership.What drives me is the intersection of finance, strategy, and innovation.
