At Nexthink, the focus is on refining the Act platform, a dynamic environment managing over 1 billion daily events for 1 million devices. This involves a sophisticated use of Kafka for service communication and Clickhouse for real-time data analytics, ensuring high-performance delivery and robust system reliability.Bringing forward the experience from Walmart Labs India, where the team and I revamped critical ETL processes for OTIF 2.0, our approach is now anchored in creating scalable, efficient software solutions. Through cross-functional collaboration, we employ state-of-the-art monitoring with Grafana and Prometheus, alongside advanced logging using Splunk, to elevate operational standards and data-driven decision-making.
