I am the Vice President and Controller at Relay Payments, a fast-growing fintech transforming how the logistics and trucking industry handles payments. At Relay, I built the finance and accounting function from the ground up, creating the company’s forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and audit processes. Today, I lead a team that oversees accounting, tax, payroll, compliance, and financial operations, while also managing the legal function tied to customer agreements, partnerships, and contracts. I established Relay’s compliance program alongside our outsourced compliance officer, strengthened our audit and tax frameworks, and positioned finance as both an operational backbone and a strategic partner driving growth across the business.Previously, I served as Director of Financial Reporting at HC2 Broadcasting Holdings Inc, where I managed reporting for a nationwide network of television stations. Earlier in my career, I worked at Anchorage Capital Group, LLC, supporting fund accounting for hedge fund and private equity vehicles. I began my career at PwC, where I spent over four years auditing investment portfolios of SEC-registered insurance companies and gained extensive expertise in SOX 404 reporting, U.S. GAAP, insurance statutory reporting, IFRS, and complex investment accounting, including fixed income, equities, and derivatives.I graduated from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School with a BBA in Accounting and Finance. Throughout my career, I have been recognized as a collaborative leader who builds scalable financial systems, strengthens compliance, and fosters cross-functional alignment to enable sustainable business growth.
