Hi! I am Ajey. I am passionately curious and love being devil’s advocate. The purchase journey of Indian customers is becoming more complex with multiple action points under four phases: initial consideration, active evaluation, final purchasing stage and post-purchase experience. Value for money is an important factor in determining consumer behavior in India. Product needs to have useful differentiation to make it more valuable for customers than competitor’s product and at the same time the pricing should be such that customer is willing to pay extra premium for your product differentiation. So, I feel that Product Manager role is very crucial in such competitive market like India. Being a product manager, I always thrive to keep my product ahead of competition in terms of features and make customer understand the importance of such features. I thoroughly enjoyed my stint as an Executive Assistant as my first work assignment post MBA. Being a C level Executive Assistant, I had to work with key management and on strict deadlines. My meticulous and organized way of working helped me to take that burden and successfully deliver what was expected from me. Outside of work, I am passionate about running, reading and music. I believe we need to have a strong mind residing in a strong body to survive and thrive. Reading books and running help me to achieve that. I have started my running journey in 2017 and now I consider myself an intermediate level runner who completed a lot of half marathons (21.0975 km) with a my personal best as 1:50:00.
