ABOUT ANDRES JOSE ENCERRADO MANRIQUEZ
I completed my Master’s of Science degree at the University of Texas at El Paso in Physics focusing on Fuel cell electrolyte materials and their properties in the X-ray Scattering Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Cristian Botez. Tasks such as synthesis, preparation and analysis of samples for many collaborations with other university research groups as well as for our research on Solid Acid Electrolyte Materials, sponsored by the DOD. As a teacher assistant since 2012, I managed physics and math oriented workshops, laboratories and tutoring sessions; I also assisted in the recruitment events (Physics Circus) on high schools and inside the university for the department of physics.I also completed my bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering on 2020.I have paused progress in my Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with concentration on Power in pursue of other goals. I’ve been working as an educator at the Middle School level helping the younger generations find their own approach to science and engineering through engaging projects and content.
