ABOUT AJDIN MURATOVIC
Ajdin is an experienced news producer and an area studies expert on Russia and the Balkans. He has native-level proficiency in Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian, advanced-level knowledge of Russian, intermediate Spanish and Italian skills, and is a beginner in Arabic.He serves as the Director of the Truman National Security Project’s Washington, DC Chapter, as well as the Chairman of the Arlington County Transportation Commission. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the National Press Club, and the Brookings Society. Ajdin graduated from the University of Virginia where he double-majored in Russian and East-European Studies and International Relations. He is the only student in UVA\'s history to win both the Pertzoff Prize (best Russian language student) and the Hammond Prize (best Russian history student). He received his M.A. in Russian and East-European Studies from the University of Bologna, Italy, and has studied at St. Petersburg State University in Russia.
