ABOUT ANDREW CASSIDY
Andrew completed his first Degree at the University of Abertay, later moving to the University of Dundee to study for an MSc in Molecular Biology followed by a PhD in Molecular Genetics. While carrying out this research work he developed the University\'s first DNA Sequencing Facility and as Director of the Tayside Centre for Genomic Analysis he continued to develop these resource over a period of 28 years. Andrew moved into the commercial sector in 2018 working for QIAGEN, firstly as a Project Manager covering APAC, GEM and EMEA then as a Global Product Manager for products within the UNGS portfolio.
