He is a seasoned hiker of the Cascades, and an avid scuba diver, constantly exploring the waters of the Salish Sea and Puget Sound.    As a part of ATUS\'s Teaching and Learning Technologies (TLT), the Learning Systems team is dedicated to supporting academic technology tools that can enhance the teaching and learning experience of students, faculty, and staff. The team consists of Canvas Support, Instructional Design, and the Center for Instructional Innovation and Assessment, working closely with Video Services, Digital Media Center, and other campus partners.In my role as an Instructional Designer, I strive to create innovative teaching solutions by developing new learning materials and providing guidance to faculty on various technologies and teaching strategies. I collaborate with professionals within and outside higher education to analyze trends and design diverse avenues for their integration within courses and teaching methods.A focus of my role is on the researching and implementing new academic technologies and teaching and learning strategies that promote an engaging learning environment. Additionally, I provide technical assistance and ensure the best use of the University\'s learning technologies. My role as one of the admins of the learning management systems includes Canvas, as well as the admin for Panopto (video management) and Wordpress. I prioritize promoting Open Educational Resources, Universal Design for Learning, accessibility, and student-centered learning.
