ABOUT ABDUL RAHMAN BADWAN

I am the founder and director of RISOVENT in Southampton, United Kingdom, and an expert in design innovation, entrepreneurship, digital technology, and human-technology interaction. I take pride in mentoring and training individuals to develop solutions for today\'s complex challenges.Throughout my career, I have taught over 2,500 students and apprentices from top UK companies, delivering more than 21 modules over the past 10 years. I have designed, led, and managed over 13 modules in fields such as computer science, digital innovation, UX/UI, business management, entrepreneurship and research methodologies.I have led three different programs in digital technologies and computer science. Additionally, I have supervised over 60 projects, many of which involve individuals from major IT companies in the UK, focusing on areas such as digital innovation, UX/UI, software design, and data science.My research interests focus on entrepreneurship education, human intentions, design innovation, space science entrepreneurship, and quantitative research analytics. I have published several works in the fields of entrepreneurship and computer systems, and I regularly deliver talks and seminars to both staff and students.I earned my PhD from the University of Southampton in the UK, where I also obtained an MSc in Strategy and Innovation. Furthermore, I hold an MBA in Leadership and Human Resources Management from the University of Dubai and a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Sharjah. I am recognized as a Fellow (FHEA) by Advanced HE in the United Kingdom.
