I’m an experienced Non-Exec, Business Advisor and Mentor. I work with large and medium-sized companies, providing advice and strategies to management teams. I’m best known for founding the UK\'s first billion-pound internet company. Freeserve was launched in 1998, entered the FTSE 100 in and was acquired by France Telecom for £1.65 billion in 2001. I was an executive Officer of a FTSE 100 company.I was the Chairman and a shareholder of a large digital agency, Quba, for 23 years, until its sale in July 2025. I was Internet Magazine\'s Top 50 Movers and Shakers in the internet industry. I also give memorable business talks called \'Cut the Cr*p.\' The talk is about the valuable lessons I learned before, during, and after my time at Freeserve. I sit on the Governing Council and Audit subcommittee at The University of Huddersfield.I was honoured when the Queen awarded me a \'British Empire Medal\' BEM in her 2018 Birthday Honours List. I am actively seeking non-executive and advisory opportunities, collaborating with companies to help them enhance and grow their businesses.
