ABOUT AJAY MAHESH

Ajay Mahesh is a seasoned communications and digital marketing professional currently serving as the Communications and Digital Marketing Manager at The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. In this role, Ajay leads the development and execution of the Club’s digital and communication strategies to reach a broad and influential audience. He oversees the Club’s online presence, including website management, social media, email marketing, and multimedia content. He also manages media outreach and relations, working to amplify the Club’s thought leadership through strategic partnerships with the press and various multimedia platforms. He also supports high-profile events and initiatives that bring together some of the world’s most prominent business, government, and industry leaders. Previously, Ajay was the Communications Manager at the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), where he led communication strategies to advance the organization’s mission and engage its members. Before CMAA, he was the Manager of Communications at the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI), supporting public affairs efforts, including media relations and content creation. He also managed social media and email marketing campaigns at the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) and gained early experience through internships at Spectrum Science Communications and the Congressional Hunger Center in Washington, D.C.A Baltimore native, Ajay holds a degree in Community Health from the University of Maryland. His background in public health and community engagement informs his approach to strategic communication. Passionate about leveraging digital tools to drive impact, Ajay is dedicated to fostering dialogue on critical economic and policy issues.
