ABOUT AJAII MAHAJAN
I’ve spent much of my career trying to understand how founders are built – not just how ventures are. Over the past 35+ years, my work has spanned technology, entrepreneurship, and human wellbeing – across organisations such as Crompton Greaves, Microsoft Corporation, The World Bank, GIZ, IDEMIA, and early-stage ventures navigating uncertainty from first idea to scale. What drew me consistently was not just building organisations, but understanding how individuals build within them. Today, my work centres on structuring the founder journey – not as isolated inputs, but as a connected system. I am the author of the Parallel Ventures book series and the creator of #101StartupInsights – a long-form exploration of what it takes to move from idea to revenue, growth, resilience, and leadership, without losing clarity along the way. Over time, this work has evolved beyond reflection into something more structured. This has taken shape as: StartupBox A structured founder learning system that creates a shared language across founders, faculty, and mentors. Kinesis A six-stage institutional journey that brings continuity to entrepreneurship – connecting classroom learning, incubation, and active founder development into a single, sustained system. Through this, institutions move from isolated initiatives to a coherent founder development ecosystem. My work, at its core, is about: Turning fragmented effort into structured progress Making complexity navigable – for both individuals and institutions Enabling systems that sustain beyond individual delivery Alongside this, I work directly with founders through select, long-term mentoring engagements – typically with those building or navigating inflection points, where clarity and direction matter more than speed. I am associated with Prime|XA Foundation, which serves as the institutional steward for this work – supporting adoption and long-term continuity across academic and ecosystem environments. If you are building something meaningful – or designing systems that support those who are – this may be relevant. If this resonates, feel free to connect.
