About Ajay Krishna Raj
I am an Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta alumnus working as a Senior Ad Success Manager at Amazon. I started my post B-School career in Sales with Tata Steel leading a division’s sales & marketing communication activities in a region where I developed strong appreciations for data-led growth interventions. My passion for customer centricity & strong belief in the immense possibilities of marketing analytics led me to next join Vodafone working as a Consumer & Market Insights Lead for a circle. Working on numerous interesting consumer research projects, consumer behaviour studies, brand related insights and multiple deep-dive analytical insights cases, the experiences further empowered me to explore more dimensions of analytics & insights; post which I worked with B9 Beverages (makers of Bira91 beer) in sales profitability & productivity analytics; and with Star TV Network in driving Strategy & viewership behaviour-led Analytics for Star Jalsha. Interested in gaining more experiences in analytics and reporting in a global business framework, I next joined Dell Technologies where I worked on Buyer base growth analytics, Marketing Campaign analytics & reporting, building multiple Marketing Dashboards to measure key KPIs and monitor performance, and leading the APJC analytics and insights initiatives. I am passionate about analytics & insights led growth strategies & I enjoy solving complex business problems with a highly customer-centric focus and an analytical mindset. I strongly believe my past experiences across diverse sectors and multiple roles stand me in good stead to work on challenging business cases unlocking significant growth potential in diverse scenarios using insightful analytics and create actionable roadmaps with effective visualizations to help businesses grow and win.
