I\'m AjayKanna — currently working at HCLTech while building toward a career in Data Science and Machine Learning.My foundation is in Statistics and Python. I care a lot about understanding why a model behaves the way it does — not just optimizing for a metric, but thinking through generalization, validation, and what structured experimentation actually looks like in practice.I\'ve worked with Deep Learning at a foundational level and am comfortable applying it when the problem calls for it. More recently, I\'ve been exploring how LLMs can function as reasoning tools — breaking down complex problems, structuring workflows, and supporting better decision-making rather than just generating output.My current role in QA and process auditing has given me something I didn\'t expect: a strong instinct for spotting where systems break down and why. That carries over more than people might think.Managing full-time work alongside continuous technical learning hasn\'t been easy, but it\'s built a kind of discipline that I think shows up in how I approach problems.Longer term, I want to contribute not just as someone who builds models, but as someone who can make AI legible to the people using it — business teams, non-technical stakeholders, anyone who needs to trust a system they didn\'t build.Open to entry-level roles, internships, and collaborations in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI.

1. Process Associate and Qa Auditor

   Joined as a Process Associate handling post-closing mortgage operations Where we assess the Employment, assets documents and re-verifying it with the respective recipients to spot out discrepancies in the documents, Also I have a basic knowledge of mortgage underwriting which is helpful for extending the domain knowledge to also check on discrepancies in Appraisal reports and tax transcripts.I was promoted to QA Auditor within three months, largely due to maintaining a clean quality record and picking up process nuances faster than expected.What I actually do day-to-day:In the auditor role, I review processed loan by the users — Marking the incorrect process flow which will impact the re-verification of the document, tracing them back to their root cause, and working with teams to make sure the same errors don\'t repeat. I run weekly QA meetings where we go through defect patterns as a team rather than just circulating reports. It keeps things honest and gives people a chance to flag issues before they become trends.On the training side, I build monthly knowledge assessments, analyze where people are consistently struggling, and translate that into refresher sessions using client-facing presentations and received appreciations multiple times from client because of clear explanation and extending the domain knowledge of team by teaching new scenarios and concepts. I\'ve found that turning raw error data into something visual makes a real difference in how quickly teams actually absorb the feedback.I also got into Excel automation out of necessity — repetitive validation tasks were eating up time, so I built out VBA macros to handle the mechanical parts. That experience got me genuinely interested in workflow logic and eventually pointed me toward AI and LLM-based process design as a longer-term direction.Documentation I own: calibration reports, BQM sheets, accreditation reviews, and monthly QA dashboards (both internal and external quality).
