Handling Logistics Operations & responsible for overall Supply Chain.• Hiring all types of vehicles according to the requirement.• Plan for pick-up’s from different locations in a FTL or in Part Load movement.• Understand all pick-up requirements & do necessary arrangements.• Managing Reverse Logistics & control regular truck movements.• Proper loading & unloading of the shipments to avoid damage/pilferage cases.• Ensured timely delivery of goods to the customers.• Co-ordination with Sales department & resolve any arising problem. • Arrangement of quotations from different transporters & approval of quotations from Management. • Maintaining TAT of trucks /containers/courier & Ensure On Time Deliveries.• Complete documentation requirement, Send Pre-Alert.• Checking dispatch related documents like L.R, copy of invoices, rates, and take the necessary photocopies for our record.• Inform to management if any discrepancy found during loading/unloading or in transit.• Tracking all incoming/outgoing shipments & follow ups with Transporters & Drivers for reaching timely. • Negotiation with vendors, transporters billing, Freight audit & Payments.• Contract Finalization with Transporters/Courier Companies & Logistics Channel Partners.• Coordinates with the branches to make sure that all the domestic pickups done as per the quality standards.• Familiar with Transport operations, vendor management with adequate knowledge & experience of transport services including challenges / pain areas / opportunities for improvement etc.• Maintaining MIS (Delivery Report/Undelivered Report/Freight Cost/Return Report)with cost per pick-up• Maintaining all data in the computer system and generate periodical reports. • Operations execution,Travel when necessary• Meeting with key existing clients to understand their issues & use the feedback to improve operations• Submit various reports and monthly minutes of meeting record with the customers.
