About Ajay Nathan
Hi, my name is Ajay! I am a current undergraduate student studying Science, Technology, and International Affairs at Georgetown\'s Walsh School of Foreign Service specifically concentrating on biotechnology and global health. Along with minors in Biology and Government, my coursework is preparing me for a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of health systems across the globe from both policy-based and scientific standpoints. Some of my interests encompass exploring how the response to health emergencies can vary between countries and even within regions of a country, including pandemics and epidemics, and how policies grounded in medical research foremost can inform the most effective response to health crises. I believe that my preparation with the rigorous SFS core curriculum, which incorporates multiple courses of international and domestic scope in government, economics, and history, as well as language proficiency, in addition to science coursework and lab-work will equip me to understand global health systems at an advanced capacity for future education.
