   Senior Quantity Surveyor – Core & Tendering Responsibilities• Lead the end-to-end tendering process: detailed quantity take-offs, preparation of BOQs, competitive pricing, risk allowances, and submission packs that meet client and Ministry of Works (Bahrain) requirements.• Scrutinize incoming tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract conditions; raise clarifications, compile addenda, and advise management on commercial and contractual risks.• Prepare and present cost–value reconciliations (CVRs), cash-flow projections, and monthly cost reports, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.• Draft, substantiate, and submit interim payment applications, variations, EOT & loss-and-expense claims, ensuring timely certification and cash collection.• Source, negotiate, and award sub-contracts and supply agreements; manage post-contract administration, including change orders, contra-charges, and final accounts.• Maintain an up-to-date database of supplier and subcontractor rates; lead market intelligence reviews to secure best-value procurement and mitigate price escalation.• Chair or contribute to tender adjudication and project kick-off meetings, providing clear commercial insight to project, planning, and engineering teams.• Monitor site progress, certify measured works, and reconcile actual costs versus budget, feeding lessons learned back into future tender strategies.• Review, verify, and approve supplier/subcontractor invoices, ensuring alignment with contract terms, completed work, and current cost codes.• Mentor junior Quantity Surveyors and estimators, allocating take-off packages, checking outputs, and fostering continuous professional development.• Keep senior management informed of commercial exposure through concise dashboards and scenario analyses, enabling data-driven decision-making.
