ABOUT AJAY JEETHAN

Accomplished, collaborative, and outgoing professional with over 15 years of FP & A experience in the Banking (National Bank of Kuwait), Forex (OANDA, Toronto) and Hospitality (Aramark Canada, Mississauga) industry. After spending over four years as Senior Financial Analyst and 10 as a Junior Analyst, with Group Financial Control at NBK, I gained extensive experience and exposure in Strategic Financial Planning and Cost Management. I leveraged this insight to drive results that consistently improved business wide performance year after year. I successfully transferred my skills and experience that I extensively developed at NBK to land a 6-month contract role as a Financial Analyst at Oanda where my prime focus was to indulge in Revenue Analytics and Competitor Analysis. This led me to Aramark Canada as a Senior Financial Analyst with the Corporate FP & A team where I was solely accountable to deliver various critical monthly management reports and assisted with the month-end close process that included SG & A analysis, Department Financials review, Capital spend analysis, GL reconciliation and Inter-company balancing.Throughout my career, I have leveraged a hands-on and collaborative approach. At National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), I developed accurate, reliable, and insightful processes and systems for financial reporting that enabled scalable analysis which allowed senior management and stakeholders to make informed business decisions.I’ve also played a crucial role in supporting annual budgets, strategic planning processes, and periodic forecasting. I believe in continuous improvement and optimization, and I have leveraged this mindset to enhance processes, reduce report delivery times by up to 50%, and establish best practices.
