DEIB is something very close to my heart. It involves empowering people by respecting them and appreciating what makes everyone different. This can be based on many things, for example, age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, education, and/or national origin. DEIB allows for the exploration of these differences in a safe, positive, and nurturing environment, ensuring individuals from different backgrounds are culturally and socially accepted and welcomed.I\'m passionate about having an equal playing field for all regardless of differences. I have been excluded from events due to the colour of my skin and have been the victim of racist abuse. Though it’s unlikely this will ever completely stop, by being involved in DEIB I I hope to support others and help everyone feel included and welcome.
