I’m a student journalist covering politics, education and institutional power, with experience in both breaking news and enterprise reporting. I’m interested in pursuing a career in journalism, and I’ll be a Dow Jones fellow at Inside Climate News this summer.I currently serve as the Senior News Editor at The Hoya, where I’ve led breaking news and enterprise coverage, expanding our investigating networks and producing original reporting. My coverage of labor issues, academic policy and federal impacts has driven campus conversations, adding to a portfolio of over 150 stories.Previously, I reported for amNewYork, covering New York City politics, crime and public policy. My work included breaking news, features and exclusives, and I was often first to report on developing stories, from electoral outcomes to major incidents. I’ve worked closely with public officials and agencies, building sources and navigating high-pressure reporting environments.My reporting is grounded in a broader interest in how institutions operate and how policy decisions affect communities. I bring particular subject-matter experience in climate and environmental policy, informed by my work in climate education and engaging with international stakeholders at the United Nations.Across roles, I’ve focused on rigorous reporting, source development and clear, accountable storytelling.
