The company prides itself in doing quality work and being one of the top bridge contractors in Ontario.Major responsibilities and duties include:• Coordination of design of temporary structures, including shoring, bridge jacking, and access/protection systems• Preparation of submittals, critical path schedules, progress payments to the client, and uploading them on WBCMS• Reviews project related documentation for completeness in compliance with guidelines and procedures• Administrating and distributing changes to contract documents for projects under construction• Issuing RFC’s, INC’s, and correspondence to clients for response and approval on WBCMS• Sourcing of material and ensuring delivery to site meets the project schedule deadlines• Scheduling and tracking of all Quality Control aspects of the project.• Liaise with owners in progress meetings, and update progress reports• Reviews contract drawings and specification for accuracy, maintenance, and constructability issues and make sure all the work is completed as specified in Ontario standards.• Ensures the progress of on-site construction is as per the design specifications, including safety standards and codes.• Communicating with field staff to ensure all contract documentation has been received including any changes to the original contractual requirements• Coordinating and scheduling crews and equipment for project sites• Organized and tracked locates, construction delays, and extra work• Ensures measurements for payment including checking, taking cross-sections, and ensuring material sampling and testing are done to contract requirements.• Reviewed paid and tracked invoices for sub-contractor
